Attestation
A confirmation of a fact — an event, exhibition, or claim — by an involved party.
An attestation is a party going on record to confirm something is true: that a work was shown in a given exhibition, that an ownership change happened, or that a claim to authorship is valid. Attestations are what turn a single person's assertion into a fact others have vouched for.
Attesian distinguishes a fact noted by one party from a fact confirmed by everyone involved. When both sides confirm, the record reaches two-sided attestation — the highest trust tier — and the page says so plainly rather than pretending every claim is equally proven.
